Terms of Service

By using h8r, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use h8r. By creating an account, you confirm you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to verify your age and terminate accounts that violate this requirement.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens on it. Keep your phone secure — your phone number is your login. You agree to provide accurate information and not impersonate anyone else.

3. Acceptable Use

h8r is about hating things, not hating people. You agree not to:

• Harass, bully, or threaten other users
• Post hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability
• Upload sexually explicit or violent content
• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Create fake profiles or impersonate others
• Spam, solicit, or advertise
• Upload photos of minors
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the app

4. Content You Create

You own your content (photos, prompts, messages). By posting on h8r, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the app. We may remove content that violates these terms. Deleted content is removed within 90 days.

5. Reporting & Moderation

You can report users for violations. We review reports and may take action including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. We are not obligated to disclose the outcome of reports.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

h8r offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies. We reserve the right to change pricing with notice.

7. Advertisements

Free users will see advertisements. Ads are served by third-party providers (Google AdMob). We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. Paid subscribers do not see ads.

8. No Guarantees

We don't guarantee you'll find a match, a date, or love (or hate). h8r is provided "as is" without warranties. We're not responsible for the behavior of other users. Use common sense when meeting people from the internet.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, h8r and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app. We can suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our privacy policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. We'll notify you of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Wyoming.
